Schiltgen Farms Photo Policy

 

We are thankful and honored that you want to take photographs and capture memories at Schiltgen Farms! If your photography skills exceed the amateur level, please observe our farm's professional photography guidelines to accommodate professional photography sessions.  Please note, we are a farm first and need to respect the crops and farm experience for all our visitors.

Friends and Family Cell Phone Camera Photos:

Friends and family are considered non-paid photographers. Our guests are welcome to capture candid, non-professional photos during their visit to our farm!  Feel free to use your personal cell phone camera for great photos at Schiltgen Farms.

 

Please note:

• Everyone must stay in the areas of the farm that are open to the public.

• Do not disturb crops, vegetation, flowers, displays, etc. during your visit.

• Photo shoots may not impede or interrupt operations or guests’ experience. 

 

Professional Photographers:

 

The sitting fee is $50 per photographer, per family, per hour and must be paid prior to the start of the session.  The sitting fee is per photographer - if there are 2 photographers taking photos, a second session must be purchased. 

 

Please email info@schiltgenfarms.com at least 48 hours advance notice with the day and time you are interested in coming to the farm.

• Please do not be demanding, rude or aggressive with our other guests. Please be patient with our customers who are here to create their own memories and might be in an area you are hoping to shoot in. If we receive complaints, we will not be able to allow photographers to enjoy their photoshoots on the farm.

• Upon arrival at the farm, you will need to check in with our staff prior to your photoshoot.

• Treat our farm with respect and regard. Please adhere to our guidelines for your safety and convenience.

• We do not permit INTRUSIVE props, including reflectors, diffusers, or changing tents.

• Everyone in your party needs to stay within the designated areas on our farm. No lifting or ducking under pennant strings or going outside the main pumpkin patch area to access closed areas.

• We LOVE that you are wanting to capture pictures here. Please tag us @schiltgenfarms or #schiltgenfarms in any of the photos you post on social media. If you have some you think we would enjoy, send them our way. Make sure you add permission for us to use them. Please include contact name and number. Feel free to email them to info@schiltgenfarms.com

• Sessions are limited to the areas where the public has access, with no props allowed, (including but not limited to stepstools, ladders, lighting, blankets, reflectors, etc.) and only during business hours.

• Professional photography must be scheduled at least 48 hours in advance.

• The photographer must submit a list of clients attending the farm prior to the photo session.

• Please be respectful of other guests around you when taking pictures.  No areas may be closed or blocked off from other customers during a photoshoot.

• All photos must be family friendly.

• The use of drones is strictly prohibited.

• Schiltgen Farms assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to any equipment or belongings.

• Schiltgen Farms employees are not responsible for directing clients/coordinating the photoshoot area. Please make meeting arrangements ahead of time.

• Schiltgen Farms reserves the right to halt any photography session deemed disruptive or inappropriate in any way.
